Happy Memorial Day everyone! Only a 10am class today with BBQ after.

Taken from CrossFit Lisbeth’s website:
Do something more than eat a burger and swim on this Memorial Day. Some gave all. Honor them by giving what you can. Do a hero WOD. Do something. So when you hear the National Anthem, you’ll know that you’ve done right by fallen heroes, at least in some small way on this one day.
And, on that day, when the last strains of music have drifted off into the Connecticut morning, I’ll be easy to find. Just look for the drops of tears on the floor beneath my sneakers, soon to be replaced by drops of sweat. It’s the least I can do for those who gave the most.”

“Murph”

1 mile run
100 Pullups
200Pushups
300 Squats
1 mile run

*For time.  Partition the pull-ups, push-ups, and squats as needed. Start and finish with a mile run. If you’ve got a twenty pound vest or body armor, wear it.
In memory of Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, 29, of Patchogue, N.Y., who was killed in Afghanistan June 28th, 2005.
This workout was one of Mike’s favorites and he’d named it “Body Armor”. From here on it will be referred to as “Murph” in honor of the focused warrior and great American who wanted nothing more in life than to serve this great country and the beautiful people who make it what it is.
