Loved this WOD. The DL got heavy during the 15.

Thanks to the donut crew for working out with me this a.m. on my birthday, especially you Bev. I know you don’t workout in the morning, so thanks. Great job to my partner, John, this morning. Way to go Rxd, Deb. Kelly – have fun this weekend. I’m still in awe of what you’re doing with the USAW competition. You’re gonna do great.

On a personal note, thanks to Brandon and Bevin for the past year. I was your first fundamental class and I never thought I’d make it this far. I truthfully feel better at 41 than at 31. It’s been fun to see not only myself but everyone else transform themselves. GVCF has been a blessing to me, my well-being, and my family. Dawn and the boys know that CF is a way of life and a passion. We’re not friends here at GVCF, we’re family.

Thanks for the birthday WOD and wishes. I hope everyone kills this WOD today.

Kelly – That is a very thought provoking article and reminds me a lot of the integrity one that was posted earlier. I couldn’t agree more with the thoughts. Nobody want to be the last one finished (myself included) but we are all made differently and there is always someone that will be (younger) stronger, faster or have more endurance. What really matters is when you dig deep did you give it you all. I think that is one of the things that makes crossfit such a great fit. The workouts are tough but B&B’s members have something in addition to physical toughness, they have the mental fortitude to continue when they feel like stopping.

Finally made this one up, Rx with the DL at 225 and first round of ring dips but need help on the last two sets of dips. 8:15 time
