I’m curious to see who pushes up the heaviest OHS in our group. Fortunately for me I can’t embarrass myself because it’s a rest day – Trainer’s orders. My bet is on big Tom.

OHS single: 145# – still had a little bit left.
WOD 17:50 as Rx (OHS 15/15/10-5/10-5/8-7)
I hadn’t snatched before starting at GVCF, my form sucks, and 75# was the max I’d attempted until now – so the 95# power snatch before each OHS set was pretty awkward/lousy.

John – You were holding it down for the old dudes. Lee Johnson would be proud. 
But seriously, you were pressing it out at the top….but you’re stronger than that at that weight. You just need some tweaks to the second pull and a 95 pound power snatch will be easy for you.

Tony – I would say they are in “wise” group, it’s more PC than saying old. If they wear a AARP shirt to the box then it’s open season……

Lee – thanks. I think Tony was trying to help me feel less isolated as the old guy in the group… I have a feeling you’re not quite in my age bracket yet.
Bill – really? One bloody nipple comment and I get old man AARP remarks at my expense? Unfortunately I really did get my AARP card this past May when I hit the big 5-0. No AARP shirt yet but I am considering an AARP tat – you know something I can show it off when I go shirtless along with Charles and Tony.

Hey those puppies are still sore . I was calling you wise, not old. Just saying if for some chance someone wore a AARP shirt than you could put them in that category.
